I was able to catch it this afternoon. Some fun little waves, and water is not too cold yet, just right.
Did anybody notice a lot of cannonball jellyfish in the water the past couple of days. They were all over the place at Croatan. Harmless little guys, but there was just way too many of them.
Yeah me and my friends have noticed a ton of them in the water at a lot of different spots. Harmless but they get me sketchin when I touch one with my foot.

I'm temporarily deployed down here outside of Pensacola because of work. These guys(and now myself) wait WEEKS for something even waist high that you can get into. Gives you a whole new outlook. Saw somewhere about not creating anymore "This Weekend" threads so I figured I'd bump and revive this one since its closest to home.
Forecast is looking a little decent for Saturday. Anyone going anywhere? The normal folks I surf with are all fair weather, warm water surfers even though they pretty much all have a nicer suit than I do.
Anyone making plans yet? Or is it the still the "Too soon to tell" phase? I'm still fairly new to this but am hooked on it for sure.
yeah, definitely. Im going to wax up my hawaiin gun and get my speedo's ready for XXL va beach style this weekend. As far as this wetsuit talk, (just like condoms) those things are for sailors. Real men are kept warm by their chest hair and body fat.
