i know this might be wayyy to much effort for small brain wave man, learn to read weather maps and swell maps on your own. learn how pressure systems work and how they effect wind. instead of bashing someone who has designed a system to read and interpret data, learn to do it yourself. They did this way before the interent was merely a dream. and if you talked to the old heads they know what is going to happen and when it is going to happen.

ha your a kook move closer , i went to 1st this morning around 7 it was super crowded and not quit as big as forecasted but it was waist and semi clean on the right board it was pretty fun . but whatever the fact you living in Arlington just proves your not really a surfer to start, job this and family that whatever your excuse surfing is a lifestyle not a hobby
It was 'ok' for the Saturday afternoon-evening low tide session, and me thinks the offshore winds were blowing all night and just reduced the size.

Its a forecast man... Sometimes their wrong... I know it sucks, but you gotta take it as it comes...
I went to Rodanthe today thinking i was gonna surf shoulder high barrels... Instead I sured maybe waist high wind swell with offshore winds blowing like 20 knots... It sucked, but Im not gonna go *****ing at Micha about it...
I think most of the people that post these "*****ing" posts, don't realize that its pretty much 1 guy running the show, and that he does his best to give us an accurate forecast...
you gotta look at the swell maps. i live in monmouth county and the forecast will say its gonna be big and the swell map says otherwise, and ive noticed the map being more correct than the forecast (well it's still technically the forecast, just not the one we usually look at). i need to look at that because we literally get the same report as seaside and most people in NJ know that if it's south of monmouth county, it's usually bigger
Sorry to hear that. Now I'm glad I chose yesterday. It was as forecasted and fun. Rodanthe has a tendency to turn into completely vertical walls of water before even 10 knots. 20's just crazy!
