As a surfer does this site have any other benefits , If I'm not into status updating..... or attention seeking like most avid fb users

I was not into status updates at all before this site. Im always thinking about the swell or the next time im going to get in the water and the forecast so its fun to stoke about that. And i would never put that stuff on FB.

I guess benefits could be if you dont know how it is and see people stoking about their sessions you know to get ur a** to the beach.
