    go pro hd help!

so last friday i made my way down to north carolina from va beach for a new surf adventure and i brought the go pro hd cam with me. i shot video for about two hours and when i went to watch it on my computer it said error 2048 quicktime couldnt read the codec etc...... ive taken plenty of videos on my camera before with the same memory card but all of a sudden it cant read my last sessions file? anyone have trouble with uploading from their go pros? anyone have any suggestion on how to make it work?

if it helps i already re installed the new version of quicktime as well

Like what he said VLC :P Quicktime blows ass. Try what was listed there. I don't have a go-pro.

    K-Lite Codec Pack
    http://www.codecguide.com/download_kl.htm

    CCCP Codec Pack
    http://cccp-project.net/

Both are pretty complete codec packs. If the first method doesn't work, download one of them and then try again.

I'm pretty sure thats the same issue I had when trying to download the video through my card reader. When I used the camera itself as a card reader it worked fine. Hope this helps.

Best if you list your exact editing software, media player, computer , etc.....

    Quicktime

Are you using Quicktime Pro (packaged w/ Final Cut Studio), or just the standard Quicktime?
