
i typed the error into google and this was the first hit

after a quick read its solution is to use VLC (which has been said, but i use it as well and its good), and then also to save to file, although VLC should be able to play it regardless. when saving to file it mentions to encode it as a different format (from .mp4 to DivX or another file type).
this comes from the solution to your error so apparently it should work
