New free cam at The Washout!

Fock surfline and their paid sh1t.

FYI, while I don't shop at Ocean, nor do I like that shop, they are doing a damn good job at keeping the surf report updated. It is nice to have a live cam at the Washout, and not just at the Pier. Now if we could get a cam at a certain nice spot on IOP, I would be ecstatic.

Thanks for sharing the knowledge Brew. Can never have enough coverage. Too bad cameras can't create swell on their own!

I'm with you on an IOP camera that is sensibly located. The cams there, that I am familiar with, are only helpful for watching girls walk on the beach. While I'll never complain about that, gleaning the actual surf conditions would be nice.

    Slide on.

Yeah man, that Carolina Coastal Surf Club cam is slow too. I can barely make out anything when it is below waist high. Also agree on the swell thing. I am going to just hope for clean thigh to waist tomorrow.

This is what our lives have become. Clean waist high waves are worth looking forward to! Sad times brother.

What would Freud say? He'd be worried for our sanity, that's for sure. Pray for some swell and...

Yeah me too. Had morning meeting and got skunked by a quite rain storm when I was trying to go out. Look decent out right about now, but I have a heavy work load. Looking like waist high today and tomorrow down here. Better than nothing.

I am leaving work in 20 min and heading out. It is choppy and drifty, but I think there could be a couple clean waist high faces out there. I will take what I can get.

Hey man, better than nothing you know. I will take any kind of ridable wave this day in age. All in all, at least down where Brew and I are, you got get it while you can.

In the couple years I have been here, the summers at least provide waist high waves on a consistent basis. While we get some good fall and winter swells, if there is not a real swell event in the water, it stays sheet glass, lake style.

I have clocked more water time in the summers here than any months. Nothing epic, but if it's waist high most days, with the occasional chest high and a few tropical storms mixed in, man, I will take it.

di**ing around on the Long Board in 85 degree water is better than sitting at home at the pool for sure.

Zach, Mr. World B surfs my island, so he knows the pains SC surfers are suffering. Last summer, my Egg got plenty of water time, but this year I am having to go for the LB.
