This is my first go-round with surfing east coast early spring & late into the autumn. In years past usually went to DR or Nica or Barbados during Nov - May months. So, as odd as it sounds, haven't had need for wetsuit before this.

This is going to sound rookie dumbass, but then again I am a rookie dumbass when it comes to wetsuits: do most guys wear rash guards underneath the wetsuit ...? It's pretty tight on my shoulders & arms now with nada underneath.

Ah, yes, one can always count on Cresto the Negativo.

Yep, I asked for & got a lot of great, positive advice from some of the guys on this site.
And as a result, bot a great wetsuit & booties & gloves & it's been great in the cold.
Don't know what else to tell ya.

3. Toyota products: screw the media frenzy, I've owned a Landcruiser, a Sequoia & an FJ & these things work off-road (Assateague, Central America, the DR) as well as on-road.

Gotta disagree partially. My 2000 Camry is the biggest piece of junk I have ever dealt with. No words can express how much I loathe this car. Every day I wake up and wonder if it's going to start, and yes I do have a good battery. Horrible, horrible piece of machinery. Definitely did not live up to Toyota quality.

My 99 4runner however, so far has! Too bad I don't drive it too often because the parents will charge me for gas. I love taking that thing to the beach
