Plenty of time left in this season

I thought I'd post a pic of Hurricane Ike on 9/11 at Mexico Beach last year to show that there'd still plenty of time left in the season for some great waves. Maybe I'm just trying to convince myself...

atlantic tropical activity generally doesn't get cranking until late august/early september. no need to give up hopes yet.

Yeah, but sometimes there's a little random, early swell in July. Sometimes. Maybe.

Can you tell that I'm freaking out?

Meat

Here's some more meat from that swell. http://public.fotki.com/MBill/2008-hurrican-ike-s/

Just more stoke for that big swell that's a-comin. I think I talked to this photog that morning and he was really cool and really into it.

Jeez... I sound like a cheerlerader for a losing team. Hey... if I had the body of a cheerleader perhaps I'd quit surfing and just stay home with myself.
