I used a screw driver and a knife to cut mine out, having to tear a little patch out, but that was a last reasort. I was sitting in the narragansett parking lot, and I had to have someone help me get it undone. Try that, and if you miss a little piece, you miss a little piece, no big deal.

how is it stuck. is the zipper caught in the suit or has salt crystalized on and frozen it. if its the first theres not much to do other than try and wiggle it free with a screwdriver and if its the second i havent a clue cuz my booties are like that and i cant figure it out!

If you soak the suite in water over night it should loosen up the crystalized salt in the zipper to get it to move . If that dont work you can try some wd-40 or CRC contact cleaner

Stuck wetsuit zipper

Hi,

sorry for not being more specific. It is fully unzipped and salt has crystallized.

Thanks for the replies

now that you have gotten it unstuck, do yourself a favor and wash it with fresh water after every use. It will help get the sand and salt out of the zipper and overall just make your suit last a lot longer.
