yeah thats the long island side, unfortunately I was away from my home in a different part of the country and couldn't paddle out but I've surfed there a handful of times during winter and hurricane swells as you can see in one of my other shots from hurricane irene a while back.

i was gonna say. The only place ive heard of being rideable on the connecticut side is in the groton mystic area, which is pointless cause u might as well just go to R.I.
