It's a stand up paddle board. It's like a long board but longer and thicker and you've got an oar to maneuver around with. It's way harder than it looks and it sucks when a few of these guys get out b/c they will catch all the waves even before the regular longboarders do. Luckily, it hasn't really picked up too much here but out in Cali it's all the rage.

only if you chose too tolerate it...just because they're up and riding doesn't mean you can't drop in behind them and let them know how much you hate them...throw some buckets on their slow ass, and let it be known that closest to the curl has priority.
