How often do the waves get that big inside the channel? And if it's often, why aren't more pros coming out of TX lol

The waves get that big every time a tanker goes by. But the reason people aren't going pro from it is because it's not as easy as just pulling up to the beach and paddling out to get there. It's like a whole day thing.
