Pretty kool, and a classy way to make the move from a sponge to a first class surfboard. Just don't shape it like a sponge.

I surf and bodyboard. No hating on bodyboarding.

Gluing each piece individually on was crazy exausting. One each day. Each piece had to be completely squared too. And symmetrical. Just traced out the rocker today on the sides.

This looks neat! Like Retro said, where'd you get your sized and long Balsa boards? I cked on line and the biggest I found were 3" wd and 48" long. Do you have to put biscuits in them?

Very cool project. I would have thought you'd glue them all togther at once and clamp using pipe clamps. how much nose rocker are you gonna get out of that blank? 3-4"
