Description for Barge In Sand Bridge (va Beach)
This barge was bigger than I ever thought it would be. Three stories to hold 300+ trucking containers.
It will be interesting to see how they plan on getting this thing back out to sea.

wow. that is ridiculous. giant balloons under it and roll it back out to sea... they did some of that during katrina. but it has a looooooong way to go.

Nice shallow draft there, eh? The good news is if it stays for any length of time, it will create a nice little point break not unlike Riviera Beach, FL. They eventually had to cut that ship up into little pieces and the point break faded fast.
