The guy charging is a former sponger and it was all around respect being shown. One of 3 surfers(Colin) was getting real waves and the other 2 were busy searching for their boards...

Pretty funny. I don't seem to recall that being the case while trading waves with Colin. Maybe it should be phrased "that many spectators (bodyboarders & surfers) on the beach wouldn't touch."
