Sweet shot! I grew up in OC in the late 60's - 70's...surfed the 14th ST. fishing pier year round as well as the north end and 37th street. And for good measure I'd paddle out at 7th street and jump a bunch of waves...Worked right across the boardwalk at Mike's Grill. Wow, your pic brought back a ton of memories...OCSA contests...Johnson's carmel corn, Somer's Point Circle/Liquor store, Bay Shores, The Anchorage. 8th and 10th Streets when a good north swell would come thru... Up to Chicken Bone and Gas Chambers in AC...
