**Surf Height Definition**
Forecasted surf heights represent a potential wave face height for the average to better breaks in a region during optimal conditions (tides, wind, swell).
Like Tybee says. There were overhead swells with clean paddle outs. But most closed out on our shallow shore after a quick dropin. Some did not have enough steepness to get into but were so large they dumped HARD! Nice day however.
Great swells at high tide but kinda frustrating as most were "pushing water" and worthelss. The well-formed waves were well worth the wait though. Looking forward to Thu.
