Biggest southerly swell of the season propogates towards Central America and US West Coast

The Central America Pacific Coast has been rockin' with southerly swells all summer, and it looks like the biggest swell of the season is on it's way for the end of the work week.

A substantial S/SW fetch developed in the South Pacific and will be sending well overhead surf to areas in South America and up through the California coast. Big Wave breaks in Central America and Mexico are looking at Double Ovheread+ stuff, while a little less, but plenty hearty wave energy will fill into the Southern and Central California shorelines.

The Swellinfo Wave Period map below shows the long period forerunners of this swell moving in Thursday afternoon, and the peak of the swell is scheduled for Friday.
