Again, another clean but miserably small break.

The Poles:
Nice SE peelers, but they were way too small to ride. I did see some kooks working on there popup.

Fernandina-Katie's Light:
Small, stinky, red-tide waves. My skin itched in this crap. Go south of Jax if you can.

Fernandina:
Small but rideable waves today. If you could get past the fishy smell from the red tide then you were okay. I didn't bother.

Fernandina:
There were some barely rideable sets that came through, but overall, a pretty miserable day.

Fernandina Pier:
Boring, oh how boring. The waves never built as I hoped they would based upon the forecast. Oh well.

Fernandina S. of Pier:
The morning was fairly clean with mostly threes closing out and the afternoon dropped a bit and became a little more textured.

Fernandina Main:
Mostly closeouts with some rideable shoulders. Paddling out was tough. Really choppy and bumpy.

Fernandina S. of Pier:
There seemed to be more than one direction going here. It was windy. The undertow was very strong. Needless to say, closeouts and fast crumblers with no hutzpah were the order of the day. Save your energy.

Fernandina S. of Pier:
Mostly crumblers today that provided some okay trim, but even on a bodyboard a tube couldn't be had. Oh well, a bad day at the beach is still better than a good day at work.

Fernandina S. of Pier:
There were some rideable shoulders today. None of the bigger waves packed any real punch, but you could definitely trim and pull some spins. A nice reprieve for the less experienced bboarders. The surfers seemed a little too picky today. A wave is a wave and if you're too good then maybe you don't ride for the fun but you ride for the flash bulbs. Photos are fine and good, but remember what it's all about. If you're not Slater or Irons, then don't front. Catching a wave is always a thrill, whether you ride it to shore or pull some stunts.

St Simons Island:
SSI sucks. 3.9'/10 sec can't even send waves through our sandbars. Pathetic and gutless...not cool.

Fernandina:
Sloppy and choppy. Way too many swells to get a rideable shoulder. Small waves ruining big waves, big waves consuming smaller ones. Treacherous indeed.
