We start the day off with a really low tide right now at 730 or so. Waves are running waist to chest high and some occasional head high sets as a north swell is finally making a presence on our beach. Yesterday at sunset the waves were head high to slightly overhead on the sets with reeling rights but there is soooo much sand right now that is making for extremely fast rides that end on dry sand bar:-( high tide is the call but it's around 130 or so and the wind is onshore hard around that time:-( stick out the slump and have a great Saturday wherever you are and thanx again for checking in! Low tide at 630 to start the day off. Waist to chest high waves and really really fast! Some make able corners but mostly too fast. As the tide fills in throughout the morning it should improve! Happy Friday and enjoy the weekend To see the full report, including video, please visit us at: www.BarefootInPublic.com/surf-report

We started the day with the low tide around 6am and pretty much closed out chest high waves. Lots of south direction in the waves today so long closed out walls with the low tide;-( maybe later on the incoming tide things will change for the better but keep an eye on it because the wind has been coming onshore early again. Our recent run of offshores seems to have moved on and now we are back to normal at least for the moment with onshore wind at around 10 or so.whatever the situation, enjoy your Thursday and stay in the moment;-) great things are on the way;-) To see the full report, including video, please visit us at: www.BarefootInPublic.com/surf-report

It's back to school today in costa rica:-( and the waves continue mostly waist to chest high! High tide around 1050am so as you can see the waves are very fast at the moment and very shallow. Right around 830 or so till about 12 is the time to surf! Seems like every once in a while a head high set is sneaking through so this could be the beginning of a new n swell. If your here than take both boards to the beach just in case! If your not here than enjoy your day no matter what! Do something nice for someone today and if your happy than share with others and share the slow down;-) adios To see the full report, including video, please visit us at: www.BarefootInPublic.com/surf-report

Starting the day with a mid tide high around 940 or so and perfect waist to stomach high waves with excellent form and conditions! However right now we have ALOT of sand on our beach so the low and mid tides with minimal swell results in really fast waves!! The high tide is just deep enough to have a great 3 hour sesh or so! Longboards are the call once again! Tomorrow a chance for another increase in swell for the next several days so stay tuned! Thanx for checking in and take it slow;-) To see the full report, including video, please visit us at: www.BarefootInPublic.com/surf-report

We start the day with the high tide at 615 and basically waist high waves. The wave form is excellent with glassy conditions. If you are here and own a longboard than today is a good day to use it;-) however when the tide drops out the new sand that's been moved around has caused for a mega shallow set up and basically really really fast waves! In other words surf the high tide if you can since it's small!! Whatever the case happy Friday and welcome to February;-) have a great month and take it lite!!!!! High tide was at 5am and the wave heights have gone down considerably over night running stomach to chest high at best. I did not see anything much bigger than that but the wave form is excellent and the conditions are perfect to start the day! Low tide around 11am. Looking like longboards to start the morning session or a decent day to take a break as more swell is on the way;-) thanks for checking in and take the day nice and slow;-) To see the full report, including video, please visit us at: www.BarefootInPublic.com

Want to start off by saying the north swell we have in the water as of yesterday is such a long period and coming from so far away that the bomb sets are really only ONCE maybe TWICE per hour! Anyway we start the day with the same head high sets with the ultra random overhead bomb from the north! Perfect a frames with the dead low tide at 750 this am. With LOTS of patience and some luck you will get a couple good ones! Whatever the case it's Friday so enjoy the day and the weekend as well!! Go slow, find the flow, seek tranquility;-) To see the full report, including video, please visit us at: www.BarefootInPublic.com

Starting off with the low tide around 6am today waves are still small running waist to stomach high at best. Some of the sets are pretty much closing out while some are peaky with good shape. Looks like we must wait on the tide to fill in and get the longboards ready! High tide around noon so the best time to surf will be around 9am or so. Happy hump day wherever you are and make an effort to seek positivity in your day today!;-) thanx for checking in.
