Got on it very late...only had about 45 or so minutes before dark, but caught a couple. Where I was it was breaking very top to bottom in about waist deep water. It was low tide as well which contributed to it having not much of a line but just a steep drop, but it was fun and also was a challenge because it was dumping so hard...again though I like those kind of waves.rnrna couple 4+ ft sets coming in every once in a while.
Well to most it probably wouldnt be fun, but i love shorebreak waves...choppy, disorganized shorebreak tonight. Double up, drop in, and get hammered on the sand...I love that kind of wave. Definately in the 2-3+ ft range.
When I first paddled out, for the first hour or so there was a little knee high, maybe slightly bigger wave...the size remained pretty much the same but the rideability didnt improve at all. Basically all closeouts, just drop in, no lines at all. Very shallow as it has been for a while.
Some waves coming through tonight, lots of close outs, some fun air drops. Definately some 4+ ft sets coming through, close to the shoulder high range, but not much of a line at all. Mostly just a drop. Pretty Choppy, but some of the Lefts looked somewhat clean on the face.
A couple fun ones this evening, similar to last night, but a little smaller...kind of funky breaking, but a fun one would come in every once in a while. I would say there were some sets close to 4ft. Very inconsistent though for the sets. Long waits for sets.
