Glassy and waist-slightly overhead
swell with light NNW winds at about 5mph. It's got a strange bump on it, its sort of like glassy chop if you know what I mean. Waves are fun but pretty weak sauce, just dribbly. Either way its really cleaning up and worth it if you can get to a punchier break nearby.
Very light onshore winds 5-10 mph max. Solid chest-head swell with smooth faces and long lines. Reports say choppy but I don't think they're taking into account the lightness of the wind. Should even decrease during the day. Clean/semi clean conditions at the moment. Partly sunny with a nice balmy high of 40 degrees. Looks really fun. Finally a day without that awful howling NW wind...Get out there.
Solid leftovers from the nor'easter. Really shifty out there right now, currently 4-8 ft with moderate WNW winds around 10mph. I wouldn't head out until it cleans up a bit closer to high tide (noon). Should smooth out throughout the day, but the swell will also drop into the waist-high range by late afternoon with cleaner conditions.
Bumpy but fun-sized medium period swell. Not that "choppy", but quite shifty and rather textured with WNW wind 20+ mph (again...) Cross/off winds making it perfectly surfable, but prepare for annoying gusty wind in your face..
Bomb. Extremely powerful mid period swell, wind shifting crisp south west by mid/late afternoon. Dangerous clean up sets pushing 10 feet or more. Straight offshore winds smoothed out the storm surf to create long reeling lines and huge ripable wave faces of near double overhead heights. Very difficult/dangerous paddle out with sets peaking out as far as 400 meters or more. Once in the outside, epic conditions..
Sloppy, stomach high mush. Short period, clustered/barely surfable. Strong sideshore current, onshore winds 10-15 mph. Be aware, pretty much all of the forecasts predicted much larger and slightly cleaner conditions.Should be a clean-up late tomorrow..
