Skunked! Angle must be too steep.

Monmouth to Long Branch:
Waist to occ chest, semi clean, little bit of a wobble on it, could be fun if the angle or tide was better. Tide is too high now. Not working. Go south.

Lavallette:
Low at 6am was dumpy garbage. Got better as the tide came in around 9am. Don't wait until low tonight cause this swell can't handle the lower tides.

Crumbly closed out and ugly. Maybe if the wind turns more west...

Lavallette:
Winds never went offshore enough to really clean it up this morning, but was clean enough to have some fun. Long wait between the sets. Should be decent most of the day, but seemed to be fading when I got out.

Lavallette:
Waist to Stomach and very occasional chest. Was glassy from 7 - 8:30. Semi clean now. Will likely be chopped up later. Watch out for old ex semi-pro local surfers doing tow-ats in waist high surf.

Seaside:
Has the size, has the form, just looks to need a little more grooming. Give it an hour as the tide starts to go back out.

Shin high and clean, maybe knee. Maybe a longboard. Maybe not. I'm over it.

Avon 35:
Clean waist to chest. Bigger sets are closing out. Find a decent bar and wait for a right cause lefts aren't working as well. Should be waist high leftovers for tomorrow.

Lavallette:
Glassy clean and chest high plus, but the tide is too low and the swell angle is east causing mostly close-outs without even a shoulder to ride. Wind is very light from the SW-SSW but forcasted to pick up. I saw about 6 guys out and no one was getting a ride because everything was just dumping. The inside smaller waves have a line, but I saw one guy try to sit on the inside and get hammered by a set and give up. Could be fun as the tide comes in, so I'm gonna wait it out. Stoked to ride my new Brian Wynn quad fish!

Glassed off real nice at dusk. Waist plus and clean workable walls. Should be something left for a DP.
