Right now with the dropping tide it is closing out. Swell is east with a hint of north and with the shifting wind creating a churn. Perhaps late in the afternoon with the rising tide it will become a little more doable.
If it was summer, it would be funn to paddle out into. The swell is coming in from the south and lining up off the jetties --- unfortuntely the SE wind is blowing pretty hard. Again, if it was the summer, it would be fun despite the wind.
Strong south swell but the south/southeast wind is on it. If it was the summer, I'd paddle out right away. Despite the chop and wind, it would be fun. However, it's the winter and the better call might be on the other side of low when the wind is supposed to go off-shore.
