RepararIsaac is from a small fishing village in Nicaragua and works with his friend Elton fixing surfboards for guests at a resort in the area. Occasionally, when visiting surfers break a board, they leave the board for the guys to keep.
Very rarely are they given boards that are in tact.
Isaac and Elton put these boards back together, making them their own and ride them until they break again. This is how they continue to surf and improve their surfing.

Research & DevelopmentTOKEN Surfboards met up with Chris Leidy in Nicaragua as he was homeward bound after touring the Pacific Islands. He spent two months in Indonesia, Papa New Guinea, and Kauai surfing and shooting underwater photographs. Nicaragua 2012This Year in Nicaragua only spent 10 days, opposed to 3 weeks, so there was a lack of footage. I managed to get a few very high quality gopro clips, so I just threw together a little video with some cool time-lapses and awesome surfing. I apologize for the overused song.. "Sail" by Awolnation.
