Van Diemans WatersOn a small island south lies a bay, on this island the green hills roll down from the mountains and out into the sea.
Small boulders feather out from these hills and into the ocean to meet a sand bottom.
For when a deep low arrives it supplies the mountain tops with a dusting of snow and lines to feather and wrap into these boulder lined points.
Here two men explore this land and her waters, a land they call Vandiemans land. |

Mediocre at BestBeen bit of a clip hoarder lately while working on our short film project. That is why there's been a lack of content on the blog recently. In an effort to keep it somewhat fresh we are going to try to put out a few edits with clips that wont be in the film until the movie is done this summer. Enjoy these "mediocre at best" videos until Frothylip is finished and we premiere it this summer. Or dont, and just wait for the party this summer.

Surfing Matagorda TexasSaturday the surf was choppy and disorganized. Sunday the wind turned offshore and the swell began to build. I have heard so many stories of Matagorda throwing barrels. So far this has been the best waves in Taxes that I have surfed. There were people all the way from Galveston. We were the first ones in the water and close to the last ones to leave. We stayed the night and made it a weekend surf trip and documented the journey. |
