New York, sustains 8 million people and at its heart, Manhattan, 1.6 million. It is the cultural hub of the world. In its vast complexities, surfing only bears a minute portion in the mores of its citizens. To expand this small portion, as to alter the perpetual path of surf culture, Michael Powell, PJ Raia and Ben Powell aim at being evangelists of surf through this featurette spotlighting the Big Apple.

A short surf clip I managed to scrape together in between shooting still photographs from a trip to Teahupoo in Tahiti. Surfers include: Dillon Mincher, Fergal Smith, Nick Gibbs, Ryan Gallina, Nahuel Amalfitano, Rob Brown, Thorto, Jonathan Mincher, Josie Graves, PJ Raia. This isn't the mind blowing huge surf you may be accustomed to seeing from the End of The Road, it's more of a visual trip than shred flick. Enjoy.
