less swell and wind since yesterday does not translate into better waves with more shape. wind forecast to be N at 5 to 10 mph switching to the NE. low tide looked like high tide. still water on the road in rodanthe but it's passable and water seeping under the dunes here in buxton. all photos from the lighthouse except the last one which is behind the motels.
