socal Ocean Beach

Welcome to Ocean Beach, San Diego - Overnight saw the buoys go higher and higher and this morning waves are now in the stomach-shoulder range and building. Offshore flow has things glassy and warm. Both sides of the pier are cranking out long clean lines. A couple kids have spotted a nice left and are sitting on the inside and shooting the pier. A chunky left point-break style wave is working on the outside. West swell is forecasted to hold for awhile; it looks like a good weekend to spend in the water. Air temp: 65F. Water temp: 60F. Crowds.
