A change in weather fronts has moved the swell direction from the usual SE swell to the ENE wave direction. The AM wind has chopped up the surface but wave height has increased since yesterday. I took these pictures at high tide. Great water temps but much cooler air temps. A change in weather fronts has moved the swell direction from the usual SE swell to the ENE wave direction. We are watching the surf for signs of Ophelia. If there is a increase in wave height, I will do an update. NOTE: FALL IS THE BEST TIME TO VISIT THE OBX, GREAT SURFING, GREAT FISHING & NO CROWDS AND THE CSS SURF SCHOOL IS WIDE OPEN THROUGH NOVEMBER. GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP.
