The pictures tell the story; barely ankle slapper. What happened last night was that an intense storm system moved through Corolla. This broke a heat wave but did little to help the surf. At this posting, we have a wind out of the ENE and swell out of the ESE: not the right equation for surf, the wind negates the swell. NOTE: TOMORROW IS THE 5K SCUTE RACE HOSTED BY COROLLA OCEAN RESCUE. GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP
