The OBX is starting to get a change in weather systems at this moment. The wind started out of the WSW very early this AM but around 8:00 we had a switched in direction:ENE. Wave height is still very small: ankle slapper to knee cap. But the wave forecasters are predicating an 2' increase in swell by the weekend. Let's hope they are right!  There is a system currently crossing over Florida form the Gulf of Mexico to the Atlantic. NOTE: WE JUST GOT OUR SHIPMENT OF WINTER HOODED SWEATS WITH THE OLD SCHOOL "HORSE-HEAD LOGO". GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP
