Better News:The deluge has stopped, the sun is out and the ocean is showing signs of cleaning up. At this posting, Corolla has an incoming tide. Wave height is stomach to chest but the wind is still coming out of the ocean. NOTE: COROLLA STILL HAS STANDING WATER IN A NUMBER OF LOCATIONS BUT ROUTE 12 IS CLEAR SOUTH OF THE DARE/CURRITUCK COUNTY LINE.
