Wind speed is dropping but is still on-shore. Wave height has dropped down to chest high. The local crew was out surfing yesterday but had to fight a strong side-shore current running North to South. What we want is for the wind to turn and come off-shore. At this posting we still have choppy conditions: NOTE: THERE IS STILL STANDING WATER THROUGH MOST OF THE OUTER BANKS. DRIVE WITH CAUTION, IF YOUR VEHICLE DOESN’T HAVE THE CLEARANCE, DON’T DRIVE THROUGH THE WATER. GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP
