Corolla still has an on-shore wind of 18 mph or 12.2 knots coming out of the East. This is creating chest high closeouts. We have an outgoing tide at this posting. My recommendation would be too see if the surf fills in this afternoon. I took these pictures at Shad Street and I could see how shallow the sand bars are after Matthew.
