It’s all about the wind. Wind direction is out of the North to northeast. Wave height is wist to stomach and very choppy. Current air temp is 38 degrees and wind chill feels as if air temp is 30 degrees Fahrenheit. The North wind is creating a side-shore current running north to south. I took these pictures at Dolphin Street. Despite the chop, you can see a wide variety of sandbars. Mid Corolla might offer a good selection of surf spots.
