Virginia Beach / OBX Corolla

A front moved through Corolla last night: rain, thunder and lighting but no lighting bolt strikes that I know of. This AM, Corolla has clear skies, an off-shore wind and chest high surf. There is an outside wave breaking on select sandbars and challenging shore break. I took these picture an hour before the peak of high tide. Surf Conditions:: Wind, tide and sandbar dependent.
