The story is all about the wind. At this posting, Corolla has a Nor’easter conditions due to an NE wind blowing at 20 to 25 mph. But the forecast is for the wind to clock about 40 degrees to the NW and create off-shore conditions. The swell is breaking on the outside: head high and choppy. But it may be worth it to check the ocean around 1:00 PM to see if the wind switched to off-shore: NOTE: I BORROWED MY PICS FROM THE DUCK RESEARCH PIER. I’M IN DC, PLAYED THE RHIZMOE.
