Corolla, NC:
Surface  conditions have cleaned up and there is surf today. Wave height is chest to head high w/distinguishable sections. The reason is that wind speed has dropped down to 6 mph and is out of the NW. However the off-shore wind is pushing warm water (Gulf Stream) out: lowest water temp of the year: 38 degrees Fahrenheit. Corolla, NC:
The arctic conditions that Corolla has yesterday have subsided. The OBX still has a wind out of the North to Northeast. Wave height is at least head high on the outside. Surface conditions are very choppy broken sections. However air temp moved up to 32 Fahrenheit degrees combined with a 17 mph wind create a wind chill in the 20’s: GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP: Martin Luther King, JR Day

Corolla, NC:
Corolla is back to arctic conditions! Air temp is 29 degrees Fahrenheit but if you add wind speed the result is a wind chill in the low teens. The North wind has chopped up surface conditions and making the head high surf extremely choppy: GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP
