Hull, MA - Nantasket:
Surf was solid chest+ in the AM, and the ripsuckers even bigger in the PM - plenty of juice to shortboard on. A lot of surfers to surf around on the drops though. Buoys only 3.3@9s but it was a thick peak, plenty of energy. Looks like Bermuda gave us some swell, maybe a Danny set or two, who knows.

I don't care where the waves come from, the waves I shortboarded last night were about 1/3 the size of the day we got the better swell, yet I had totally fast, long rides, with many carves on them. So they must have been awfully good - maybe you were out at a different tide, wind, or swell condition, and it wasn't as good when you surfed. I surfed until about 6PM or so, and it got great. The waves can vary from hour to hour due to various factors.

Take it some place else retard - there isn't any mistrust of my knowledge of waves from people on any coast - you're an idiot - when a Cat 3 is in the Atlantic basin, the Bermuda high can generate waves 2000 miles away. It's called a Noreaster - idiot! Do me a favor - don't surf in Hull when I'm out in the water, and don't try to strike up a conversation.

I'm not saying it wasn't great. I'm just saying it wasn't head high.

This is why no one on the west coast respects east coast surfers. It was 2-3 ft. tops. 4-5 ft. means serious swell. Monday was not serious swell. It was enough to shortboard on but just barely. Also, GTFO with the Danny BS. Danny got stuck in the Caribbean. This was localized wind swell hence the short period.

Are you sure you want to remove this surfer from your crew?
