Corolla, NC:
We currently have thigh to waist high surf, an off-shore wind blowing at 9 mph and H20 of 54 degrees Fahrenheit. Corolla has had decent swell through the weekend but conditions were dependent on the wind. The same rule today: as long as the wind stays down, we should have decent shape. NOTE: RENTING EQUIPMENT AHEAD OF TIME MEANS CAN HAVE YOUR SUP's, BIKES, SURFBOARDS AND KAYAKS AT YOUR COTTAGE WHEN YOU GET TO COROLLA. www.corollasurfshop.com/rentals

Corolla, NC:
Sunday's surf is an improvement over the earlier weeks surf. Wave height is at least stomach high. Corolla has had a semi-clocking off-shore wind blowing at 16 mph. The tide will be flipping at 12:30 Noon. But the off-shore wind did push out the warm water. Corolla is still at 57 degrees Fahrenheit: Equipment of choice: Any size board w/float until we hit dead low: WE JUST RECEIVED SHIPMENT OF 8 SUP's. GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP

Corolla, NC:
Oh Yeah! Finally, some size to talk about: current wave height a half hour out of high tide is chest high on the face. The forecast is for the wind to turn from the South to the Southwest. Better news: H20 is 63 degrees Fahrenheit. Board of Choice: Performance, either long or short. Once Corolla comes close to low tide, we will finally have some sections with a vertical drop. NOTE: OUR INVENTORY OF NEW BOARDS IS LOOKING GOOD. WE LOVE TO DO TRADE IN's. GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP

Corolla, NC:
Corolla continues to have a steady knee-cap to thigh high wave coming on from the SE. I went out yesterday w/cloud cover & 57-degree water and found my 3/2 mm full suit to be just fine. The wind is currently out of the south but the forecast is for a slight clocking around to the southeast. The small surf means that catching any waves will depend timing your session with the tides. Mid to lower will be better: NOTE: OF COURSE WE RENT SUP'S AND OFFER FREE DELIVERY. GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP
