This is Surfing under a giant rainbow. This video was shot at a secret spot on a little island right off the coast of South Carolina. This footage was shot on March 24th 2017. There is also footage from early February 2017 in this video. Enjoy!
I just took these pictures off of The Lighthouse Ramp Road. Wave height is stomach to chest +. Corolla has residual swell that was generate by the front that came through 48 hours ago. The good news is that the wind continues to be off-shore. This AM’s H20 is 59 degrees Fahrenheit: GO SURFING! GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP
Today is a surf day! The wind turned last night and became an off-shore wind. Wave height is waist, chest high on the faces. Glassy conditions, mild air temps and a H20 is 59 degrees Fahrenheit! GO SURFING!
At this AM, Corolla has a crazy wild ocean! Wave height is well over-head due to the East-South wind that is currently blowing at 25 mph. If this was summer, Corolla Beach Rescue would be posting Red Flags. There is a strong wind blowing at 25 mph that has created ‘out of control’ surf. What we are hoping for is for the wind to switch and come out the West. This am’s water & air are matching each other at 60 degrees Fahrenheit: NOTE: YOU CAN CATCH THE 99.1 THE SOUND COROLLA SURF REPORT BETWEEN 8:15 AM & 8:30. YOU CAN EVEN STREAM THE REPORT WHERE EVER YOU ARE! THAT’S IF YOU REALLY MISS HEARING MY VOICE EARLY IN THE AM? GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP
