if you wait long enough there is a good wave breaking here and there but no definite lineup. the little bit of south that was in the swell yesterday is gone. wind forecast to be W at 10 to 15 mph, but it's blowing a steady 15 this AM. water temp in the mid 60's.
Good morning surfers. It's a beautiful morning out here at Pensacola Beach. The surf... Well its pretty much flat unfortunately. The pier has a ankle to shin high wave coming through but its breaking on a really shallow sandbar so riding it would just about be impossible. The wind is blowing offshore at 1-2 mph causing for glassy conditions. We will give you another updated report at midday. Have an awesome FRIDAY!
Looks like there are a few waist to chest high peaky waves. Surf is clean and looks rippable on the sets. The waves are fast and only good for a couple turns but overall its much cleaner and better than it has been the last few days.
Here you go, now dubbed as Mega Monday as the Wild Lyfe Crew jump on Hurricane Sandy in October 2012 and Brad 'B-Rad' Hoffman snags the footie of a lifetime as the fellas charge the biggest surf ever in Ocean City, Maryland on Monday October 29, 2012 and produced real fast by unscene productions as luckily b-scene productions had its' handheld camcorder...............unscene.
Well the surf has died. There is still a small shin to knee high wave at the pier but it is not clean like it was earlier today. It is amazing how much it has changed in the two hours I have been out of the water. The winds are light onshore out of the west, blowing at 2-3 mph. If you are desperate there is something but it is not quality. Don't forget Surfers on a Mission having their On the Rocks series tonight at 6:30. I hear Tony and Arnie from PHOP (Pensacola house of prayer) are going to jam tonight. If those don't get you stoked, the food will....chili...yahoooooooooo!!!!
Corolla is getting back to normal. Construction crews are getting staircases repaired and the sun is out. I'm working on a Hurricane Sandy Benefit Tee with Mike Stokes from Flying Fish Ink. Today's surf is waist high but the tide is going to have to move out. My observation is that Corolla's beaches are flat. Most of the troughs have been filled in. WE have an off-shore wind and warm sunny day on the beach. GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP
the sandbars still need to settle in after the storm. good looking waves here and there but no specific spot stands out. wind forecast to be W at 10 to 15 mph increasing to 15 to 20 mph. water feels about 66*.

Good morning. We have some surf. The pier is running thigh with hip sets. Ever so often there is a bigger wave that comes through. The wind is blowing out of the NW at 4-6 mph causing for glassy conditions. We will give you another report at midday. Go surf if you can.
