Good afternoon! It is another gorgeous day out here on Pensacola Beach!! The surf is running knee high with sometimes a thigh peak coming through, depending on where you go out here. The wind is still out of the East at 8-10 mph causing for choppy conditions on the surface of the Gulf. It is supposed to keep building through tonight and into tomorrow. The swell models are still showing surf through Friday. Have a great afternoon!
2 3ft set rolling in but a bit choppy at the moment. The wind is supposed to pick up as the day goes on so I don't see it improving. Have fun and be safe.
Wave height has dropped since this weekend. The surf I just checked is about knee to stomach. Corolla has an incoming tide at this posting and the sections are makable & will only stay that way so long as the wind doesn't pick up speed. NOTE: COROLLA SURF SCHOOL HAS SOME GREAT LESSONS THIS WEEKEND. INCLUDED IN OUR LESSON PRICE IS A WETSUIT. GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP

Good morning. It's a nice morning out here on Pensacola Beach. The temp is only 66 degrees. The winds are out of the NE @ 8-10 mph causing for semi-choppy conditions. That means the surf is only shin high and weak. There is swell out there, the wind needs to get more south in it. Surf is on deck for this week! Yahoo! We will update at midday.
Borderline "lake-like" out there this morning - already has some sideshore wind on it for some texture. Not blown out but it doesnt matter. there are very few even rideable looking waves, a tanker longboard is the call today. On the bright side there is nobody out so you can have a nice solo session if thats your thing. Otherwise it just looks painful out there this morning. Very small, crumbly little dribblers on the inside.
