Corolla, NC:

I just took these pictures 1/2 hour at Shad Street. I think Sunday will be a decent surf day. Wave height is at least chest high. The 'X' factor will be the wind. At this posting, we have an on-shore East wind blowing at 12 mph. This is only giving the wave a little push. Go surfing!! Incredible day in Corolla. Pensacola, FL:

Good morning! It is a beautiful day out here on Pensacola Beach. The workers are starting to fence off the beach for that festival next weekend. So, good luck surfing the pier for the next week. There is a little wave that is coming through in the thigh high sometimes hip range. At the pier, it didn't really go anywhere and the wave that did break was very short. The little wave coming in right beside the pier is only shin maaaaaaybe knee high. The winds are light offshore causing for glassy conditions. We will have a report for you later today.
