Who wants to have a surf contest today???? We are on for the Corolla Surf Shop Longboard Invitational. I just took these pictures at Shad Street. At high tide, we are getting waist plus waves. Size should pick up as the tide drops. We scheduled the contest so that the majority of the heats will catch the incoming tide. We are going to try to get our 1st Heat in the water by 1:00PM. Public parking is 1 block off. We still have slots left, so please be there by 12:30. NOTE: SHAD STREET IS THE NEXT STREET AFTER THE COROLLA LIGHT WATER TOWER. GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP

Brevard County, FL:

Signs of some lines but pretty disorganized at the moment. Might be worth checking out this afternoon. I will give it a look later on today. Have fun and be safe.

Pensacola, FL:

Good morning. It's Saturday! Whoot. It's a beautiful morning out here at Pensacola Beach. The air temperature is 75 degrees and the wind is blowing out of the NE at 7-9 mph causing for semi glassy conditions. And the surf.....It's running knee to occasional thigh high on sets. The winds are supposed to stay offshore all morning and they should turn to the east around noon and decrease to 4 mph by sunset according to the weather channel. Hope everyone has a great Saturday and we will give another report at midday.

New York:

Small again today. Knee high at best. Winds are NNW early and will be all day. May see a little wave for tomorrow and it looks like more for next week.

Cape Hatteras, NC:

mostly chest high. wind forecast to be N at 5 to 10 mph increasing to 10 to 15 mph.
