We have surf but we also have a on-shore/side-shore wind. I'm going out around 11:00AM in order to let the tide drop. Wave height (at this posting) is in the waist plus range. Good morning. It's a beautiful morning out here at Pensacola Beach. It's 73 degrees and the wind is blowing out of the ENE at 7-9 mph causing for a slight bump on the surface. The surf is running thigh high with hip and waist sets coming for those who wait. We will give another report at midday. Have a great FRIDAY!

Cape Hatteras, NC:

looked better yesterday AM but a bit bigger today. wind forecast to be NR at 10 to 15 mph becoming E. tides too high this morning too.

New York:

Near flat conditions today. Knee high at best. Winds are SW early and will be all day. More waves for the middle of next week.

North Hampton, NH:

9/14/12 6:00am Glassy knee high surf wind SW 3mph becoming SSE 5-10mph chopping it up in the afternoon high tide 10:30am low 4:50pm T81 W65

Pensacola, FL:

This is the 4pm update for Thursday afternoon. It's bright and sunny with ese winds that have backed off a bit from earlier today. The surf is waist to chest high.
