Corolla, NC:
We have an outgoing tide and an on-shore wind at this AM posting. Wave height is the same size as yesterday, thigh to waist. But as long as wind speed stays down the morning, I recommend finding a sand bar that is breaking. Wind speed will pick up as we get into the afternoon, so surface conditions will be chopping. NOTE: WE HAVE already SOLD THREE OF OUR USED STAND-UP PADDLE BOARDS. ALL RENTAL EQUIPMENT IS BEING SOLD NOW THAT THE SEASON IS ALMOST OVER. GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP

Pensacola, FL:
Good morning. The surf is still out of control unfortunately. The wind is blowing out of the South at 25-30+ mph causing for very choppy/nasty surf conditions. Hopefully this wind will back off at some point today. The weather channel is showing the winds slowing down to 15 mph by 5 pm this afternoon. Tomorrow isn't supposed to be as bad. We will see. Today is our 10 year anniversary (Wow! How lucky am I? Whoot!) so depending on the surf and wind we may have some weird times for our updates today. We will give you another report later today. Have a great Thursday.

Pensacola, FL:
Good afternoon! The SUUURRRFFF is still huge. But it's slowly starting to look a little better. Four surfers paddled out as we were leaving and catching the mid break. Hopefully tomorrow it we be more surfable but the winds are supposed to be on it pretty hard again so we will see. The surf is still way overhead and probably double overhead. The wind is blowing out of the South at 25-30 mph which is causing very choppy conditions. We will give another updated report tomorrow morning at sunrise. Have a great Wednesday!

We spent last winter following some of Ruben's Gonzalez surf sessions (four times portuguese champion and WQS warrior among other facts in his huge CV). This last winter (Nov-to Feb) was not a tipycal one... we had a lot of small waves, but some really perfect ones!
