a little bigger than yesterday, mostly waist high but with chest high takeoffs. the southwest wind is on it a bit but is supposed to die out some this afternoon. the water is summer time toasty again, around 76*. low tide around 9:30 this AM.

there's a little southwest wind swell in the water this morning. looks a little bigger at the first jetty and cleaner behind the motels. forecast is for SW wind 15 to 25 mph. water feels warm again with the wind and swell direction change.

the surf yesterday AM went from waist high to head high in an hour with lots of current and dropped back to waist to shoulder high in the afternoon. still some of it left over in the waist to chest high range with fair shape. wind is forecast to be S at 10 to 15 mph increasing this afternoon to 15 to 20 mph. i'm hoping it will improve as the tide starts coming in. low tide around 7 AM. water cooled down to about 70*.
