coming pretty much straight in and breaking all at once on the beach. maybe a different tide and a different sandbar? wind forecast to be NE at 10 to 15 mph.
I just took these pictures at Shad Street and ½ hour after low tide. The wind is on-shore: ENE at 12 to 15 mph. Wave height at this posted is in the waist high range. There are sections to be had but with the wind, they will not stay open for very long. The outside sand bars are breaking but probably just for another 2.5 hours. Decent water temps 70 to 75 degrees Fahrenheit. NOTE: WATCH OUR SUP TOUR VIDEO. GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP
Good afternoon. What an awesome day it has been out here at Pensacola Beach. Super fun day! Just got out of the water at the Cross. It's still a really fun longboard wave. The surf is running thigh, waist, and ever so often a rib high wave will come through but you really have to wait for them. The wind is really light out of the ESE. It's only blowing 3-5 mph causing for just a little bump on the surface. The jelly fish were not real bad a the cross while I was out there. I hope it stays that way for the rest of the day. Go get some surf! We will give you another report first thing tomorrow morning. Have a great Wednesday.
tues evening was on fire! surfed north jedi and was kinda weak.went a little north to 880 and it was jackin up on the sandbar..as a gulfster it was epic.cant wait for isaac!
We have a size today! Wave height is at least thigh high to waist but the wind is coming off the ocean. I took these pictures at 7:00AM in Whalehead. You could consider your short board but a longboard will also work. NOTE: WE OFFER FREE DELIVERY FOR ALL OF OUR RENTAL EQUIPMENT IN COROLLA PROPER. GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP
